John Hawk, founder and lead instructor of John Hawk Actors Workshop, is a working actor with over 20 years experience in film, television, commercials and theater.
 
Throughout his career, John studied with renowned acting teachers, including Rob Reece, Bill Howey, and Carey Scott.  He also studied at the New Village Arts Theatre in Carlsbad, CA.

John developed a diverse background as a student and performer with a variety of acting teachers, methods and self study - Stanislavski, Lee Strasberg, Stella Adler, Uta Hagen, Sanford Meisner, Howard Fine, Larry Moss, Eric Morris, Tony Robbins, Wayne Dyer and many others.

John has appeared in multiple roles in numerous stage and independent film projects, including lead roles in Under The Gun (Best Comedy Winner, 2004 Los Angeles Film Festival) and Imagine This (Best Film Winner, 2009 Columbus 48 Hour Film Festival). Most recently, he appeared in the award-winning independent film
The Greater Meaning of Water.

He is currently represented in the Midwest by Heyman Talent Artists Agency.
